Overview: Client
needed to improve the process of collecting, analyzing and reporting
salary increase and bonus recommendations from managers, while
integrating into the existing processes (paper approval, budget
process, etc.).
Issues: Manager
recommendations were coming in outside of accepted salary ranges,
departmental totals were over budget, . Aggregating and
analyzing the data was onerous, time-consuming and inflexible.
Jerts Solution: Developed an
Excel-based data collection template that provided managers with
departmental budget totals, analysis, compa-ratios, visual
warnings/limits, salary/bonus amounts rounded to nearest
$100. Template design enabled HR department to
easily aggregate corporate data for analysis and reporting.
